 "Chore Boy Copper Scrubbers: Perfect for Pots & Pans: Won't Rust or Splinter: Designed to Make Cleaning Easier: Quickly Removes Cooked on Food & Grease: 2 Copper Scrubbers" I bought them at the hardware store around the corner earlier this year for something I was going to do for another site that I never got around to. Not that I didn't have the time, I just didn't do it. Time is a commodity that I have plenty of and yet, I did not shoot the image until about an hour or so ago. Yeesh. Guess I'm gonna have to get a job again, I was much more productive.

Along with the copper pot scrubbers I bought some copper tacks that I tried to photograph along with the scrubbers, but I did not like how those turned out.

Placed the pot scrubber on my light box. Shot with camera on tripod and cable remote using only the ambient light of the light box.

Post: Camera Raw adjustments in PSElements 6.0. Layer adjustments for levels, brightness/contrast and hue/saturation. Lots of crops. Curves adjustment. Adjust sharpness. Resize. USM.

Totally forgot to change the time on my camera from last weekend. Fortunately it is still within the time frame of this challenge. Whew! Lemme go change that now! Arrrgh!

make a puzzle of this:) maybe a bit of contrast would have helped, but its pretty cool as it is

Cool idea, what is it a kitchen cleaner pad? I think a black background with front or side lighting might have been better. On my monitor the image is a little flat.....maybe more contrast?

Neat looking macro. I would guess this is a copper pot scrubber. Great DOF for something shot so close up.
