 It's raining. It's been raining and/or gray for days. I so wanted to go out walking in the woods today and take some shots, but it's raining again. Oh, did I mention it's raining. So, I opened my living room window and shot the elephant ears on the fence next to my driveway. Played for a bit in PS. I know the border is overkill, but... anyway. It's raining.

Slicker, umbrella, and a large plastic bag - either a freezer bag (the big ones) or a grocery plastic bag. Put it over the camera with a hole for the lens, stick your hand in the open end at the back, and go shoot. I love shooting in the rain. Light kinda sucks sometimes, but it's still fun. And this is a lovely shot. Border is overkill... :-)

Yeh Kelli - send the rain over here. And anyway this shot is so vibrant and springlike iit doesn't look like it's raining at all...

Wish it would rain here - I think we're going on 80 days right now. Love those colors - the purples and violets in there.

The rainy day making the leaves wet helps the saturation of the colors for this shot. The leaves look like they are about done for the season, and are in their fall colors. Cool "bored-er" LOL.

is it raining or something kelli !!?? ... lol ..
you did good .. brilliant shot and i love your processing .. you've captured so well those vibrant autumn colours .. i'm usually into ornate or busy borders but this totally works & i really like that i can see a small bit of the fence behind .. it adds a certain 'something' behing the leaves .. like a background border .. hope you can get out for your walk/photographs soon .. i go mad when i cant get some form of exercise .. :)
