Wow, that's quite the view. If I saw this every morning it would be even harder to get to work. |

Wow! Are they clouds or was something on fire?? I love the tree in the front, kind of like you were peeking out to catch the view, very pretty. |

It almost looks like you're spying on the little town from behind the branches! Again, the colours are beautiful! |

absolutely awesome .. the autumn colours so vibrant and engaging and that beautiful scene ..
when greg gregoryb was making his comment i was looking at this with him and we both thought is was pretty terrific ... also wondered if it was smoke, clouds or fog ... it looks like smoke the way it seems to be coming up from the ground .. but if its clouds then they're behaving differently from ours .. !!
this is such a WOW image .. i also love how the close up trees form an excellent border .. :)
ahhhhh .. just read your comment .. fog/clouds AND smoke .. awesome combo .. !!:) |

Yea, I'm not too crazy about that stupid limb, either. But, it was beyond my reach, and down a very steep hill about 10 feet, so I couldn't cut it down. If I thought this shot would be a money maker, or ribbon winner, I'd clone that bad boy outta there. But, I've got too many other "client shots" to work on.
:)
Yes, there is a paper mill buried in there somewhere -- adding to the morning fog. |

I very much like the colors and the lay of the land in this shot. I also agree about the one branch right center being a bit distracting, but this isn't about perfection in these SOL challenges.
I am guessing that is steam flowing over the mountain from the plant that is in your town? It's a lovely view this time of year in any case. |

what a beautiful view! not sure about the branch that intrudes in the middle! like the way the rest acts as a frame. |

Wow! From your driveway? Beautiful! A little too much pine tree on the right for me. |

Unbelievably beautiful colours in this image - is this mist, cloud or a bushfire - looks very smokey. |
