 Meet Bonzai. He's quite a ham. He's a tiny cat - only weighs about 8 or 9 lbs. We adopted him from our local shelter when he was only about 8 weeks old. (He was a Christmas present from my son.) He absolutely, without question, rules the house (and the dogs). His favorite activities are hiding behind a corner, or door and leaping out at any unsuspecting creature passing by (human or canine). He thinks he is a tiger or a lion. He will launch himself at the dogs, and they will obligingly roll over and let him pretend to try to dispatch his "prey". When he gets too rough, they just swipe him off with one of their very large paws. In this picture, he is trying to figure out why the camera flash is strobing. This was just seconds before he launched himself at the lens. Thank goodness for uv filters. I wasn't quick enough to get that action.

Of course, it is 3 a.m.

Wow, I thought my eyes were green! Cats always seem to have the most intense expressions on their faces!

fantastic shot of a brilliant looking cat and i just love his name .. i think you've managed to show that very cheeky nature in your photograph ... your story was great to read .. at 5.43am !!! ... :)

He is sooo handsome- the green eyes are amazing ! I know exactly what U mean- he sounds just like our 8 mo. old kitty Abby-so much fun to watch & such characters- we also have 2 dogs which she uses like trampolines !
