Had a bloody nose, immediately thought of the abstract challenge. It's more abstract in the way of well, just being abstract than it is not being able to tell what it is. Oh well, I predict a score of 4.1 since no one like blood around here. I think it's fascinating abd beautiful.

Anyway, PS work:

Levels, desaturation of all but red. Burning in the cement part of the tile, and just a tad of spot editing. And sharpening, as well as despeckling.

Looks like paint! Very dirty subject you chose there. The tissue spoils it. Maybe you could have let the blood drip on the tiles and snap the splattered drops would be better. Corners of the tile missing, tissue would be better more inside and whole. Even better if you'd wipe the dirty blood on the floor. Don't like it! Sorry!

a red saturated napkin on a lenolium floor? Not quite sure about abstract, but I do think it's a great image. I love how you have placed the square on the floor within the frame. very nice placement there. the red really stands out, and while normally, a bloody looking napkin on the floor wouldn't be exciting, you have taken it in a interesting way. 2 things that stand out to me are the shadows. I kind of find them distracting, and there seems to be a solid object under the napkin, either that, or that section of napkin has shadow on it too, making that section look strange. I think you did a mostly good job with this photo. ~Heather~

Pretty obvious what this is... not really sure if I would call it abstract per se, but I like it nonetheless. The composition is good, and the b&w + red is both interesting and bold.

Oh dear! Somebody had a nosebleed. Quite dramatic in a way. The severe lines of the tiles and the chaotic shape of the other object contrast well.

Originality and a cool look but skip the frame.

Great composition! And for once the trame helps, But somehow the subject doesn't affect me much, it seems not quite abstract enough, or maybe just the opposite, it doesn't tell enough of a story?

That's pretty gross. What's abstract about it? It's blood on a paper towel on a ceramic tile floor. ?
