Thanks for the nice comments so far. For those who want to know where it is it's in my backyard. As a New Yorker who has fallen in love with the western US (Wyoming especially), and has sometimes been known to call NY a "toxic waste dump" I've decided to return to some beauty in my own state. This is Watkins Glen, NY-a little over an hour away from my home in Rochester.

This was another shot from Watkins Glen that I thought of entering.


Very pleased with all the positive comments and how well this did. Watkins Glen is just a great subject to photograph and easy enough for a novice like myself to get a fairly good result.
