I know this DNMC as written but this was the only wildlife I could find to image. Captured in my back yard, took about 3 hours to get the spider in one place long enough to shoot trying to keep my spider light in place while the wind blew the web around and messed up the focus.

Some Crop, Lense Correction, Noise Reduction, sharpening, Selective Desaturation, Resize Border

Quite the macro, especially given the proximity to Halloweentime. Photographically I would prefer more DOF; the OOF legs bother me a little. I think I'd like maybe a slightly different angle, so the web and legs were sharp and then focus fell off as the eye wandered to more of the spider.

Also (here it comes!) a bug isn't going to get my highest vote in this challenge, given the description and the competition.

Yikes - it's not often I feel sorry for a Fly . .

It's a whole different world out there . .

""wildlife" should be considered non-domesticated mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians living in a natural environment"

Sorry... I don't think this meets the challenge...although it's a very cool perspective. Almost like a circus act or something.

Nice shot, but DNMC. "For the purpose of this challenge, "wildlife" should be considered non-domesticated mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians living in a natural environment." Not voting
