 At the top of the hill, overlooking Rüdesheim, though Rüdesheim wasn't at all visible on this day due to fog.

you'll have to excuse me...I have to pick my jaw up off of the floor. This is absolutely stunning. Unfortunately, we dont' get to experience such beautiful things close by around here. The title says it all...FAVING!

Everything SandyP said - what an ethereal photo..I would have loved to have been there on the day you took that shot.. the delicate colors of the leaves fading into the fog are just stunning!

The mist and the softness here gives it such an ethereal atmosphere - delicate and unexplored,just like a fantasy world. The red, green and yellow leaves give a wonderful burst of colour to the scene and compliment each other nicely.

OMG Deb!!! Ok. Now its confirmed. I haven't even been uploading photos to my portfolio on dpc because for the last year or two, I've noticed that unless you are in a side challenge NO ONE comments on newly uploaded photos -- no matter how good they are. This one proves it.

This is one of the most beautiful forrest photos I've ever seen. The fog enhances it. I think if you could have seen Rudesheim, it wouldn't have been near as dramatic and beautiful.

WOW! This is going straight to my favorites. . . matter of fact. . .why don't you put it in dpc prints. I will buy it, and I'm SERIOUS!

ps: If you put it up for prints, autograph it, okay?

I think enchanted is an excellent title for this, I even wonder whether you could bring out the colours a little more to maximise that rich autumnal feel ?
