I thought this a good use of very shallow DOF - a spot of reality amidst a quiet abstract.

I really liked this one, I think only the small part of the plant being in focus adds to the shot rather than detracts. The colours are really nice too. Underrated by far.

Ridiculous. This should have scored higher! The composition, with those blue stripes in the background is very interesting. The focus is perfect, and the vivid colors and contrasts make this a very nice shot. I think it should have gotten a mid-5 score a least, imho. Ah well. :)

I would like this more if a little more of the plant were in focus or if a larger blossom/leaf were in focus. Right now it hurts a little to look at because so little of it is in focus. Perhaps even a closer crop would improve it.

Great colors. I'm sure you meant it to be like this but I wish a bit more of the plant would have been in focus
