Has satire ever worked on DPC? Probably not. Add to it the hyperprocessing and I'm sure this is doomed to fail. My only hope is I'm guessing this will be completely different than anything else in a small challenge.

Basically I'm pointing out that the economic bed we've made is, in a large part, one of our own excesses. The processing is an indirect attempt at reinforcing this. Excessive processing is allegorical for excessive consumption. We are turned into a plastic (pun intended) version of ourselves. Nothing but a demographic for advertisers to target.

I'm hoping for at least a 6.0 for no other reason than the fact I was actually holding that sign in front of one of Eugene's busiest malls and intersections. ;)

LOL - good one - but seeking cash, for verisimilitude, you need a hat/bucket/dish - even for a Hummer.

If you want cash, don't wear black shoes with black socks. I think you look like D.B. Cooper. Funny pic.

LOL - I like it, Doc. I am guessing you got hammered for the overprocessing more than anything.

...hey, did anyone drop you any cash?

Love it. My fave of the challenge. I see hummers and big SUV's and wonder how they do it with the gas prices these days. Processing is very cool too.

Did you borrow a sign from someone actually sitting at that intersection? There's some damn expensive cars in the lot at that shopping center sometimes. Some cars you would think would be sitting in a locked garage and never driven because they're in the 90k+ range.

As for the actual photo, it looks too processed to me.

Nice and sharp but a little too much PP for my liking. Looks like the guy has been pasted onto the frame - Also find the letters coming out of his head very distracting.

nice synthesis, post prossecing and all, but it feels a bit fake, like a collage ...

Odd take on the challenge. Perhaps it's a cultural reference that I don't get.
