 this grasshopper which is very small, about 1/2" lengthwise, was on our carpet inside the house .. i put him on a cork coaster and took a few shots and then put him outside .. he was very much alive ..
combined with a couple of shots from the firetrial .. one of gum leaves and one of sand and ghostbones texture/chaos ..

No spheres, no bowl smoking dogs. Inspire me, damn it! Blah.

This makes me think of cockroaches being the lone survivors of some great catastrophe. The background looks like rotting things, with the bug being the master of it all.
