 Shot from an upstairs window (friend's place downtown - was feeding her cats). The city had a festival and had put yellow carpet down along the streets/paths. Made for nice contrast along with the sun coming up that particular alley.

No thought to settings - just shot at what the camera was set at.

By the way, the wrap around was what I was trying to catch. The shadow behind is from a young lady on a scooter following the boy.

Too awesome. Almost abstract but still very accessible. I love the lines and shadows. You should teach composition (and start with me!).

This is a great shot, it looks like he is flying. I have this recurring dream that I am flying in exactly that position that you caught that young boy. Hopefully seeing your shot, will bring on that dream tonight, it is a good dream!

I like this one, almost looks like he's running until I took a closer look. The mysterious shadow increases the interest in the image.

Very cool shadow. And use of stripes (in photo and frame). From the thumbnail, and knowing it was yours, I thought for a moment it was a curiously patterned pigeon! I will be forever curious about the shadow following him.

This almost looks like one of those wrap-around images with the two shadows, one cut off and one only the upper half. Great composition!
