I love the characterful nature of this shot. I can almost see a smile on his face there. |

Excellent macro. It's funny how our mind can complete wha't missing on a picture. Nicely done! |

I thought it was a toy polar bear. :-) Any way you slice it, it's still a unique POV that is quite fun and clever. You'll be dangerous with a true macro lens! Well seen and captured. |

JMart thanks for the bummer compliment : )
The hair on the nose is mildly annoying me and I probably should have gone back and redone the shot (I had cleared up though!!)
Well spotted on the smile Julie, think thats why i love him so much - great smile! |

I like this composition -- it's nicely balanced, and I like the focal sweet spot off center like that. Nice texture and light. There seems to be the hint of a smile in the lower right, and he really does look well loved. Over all, this image makes me smile. I enjoy it a lot. |

Very interesting perspective on this cute guy. The misc. hairs on the nose and around it are a little distracting to me & I might have pulled those off for the shot. Good detail on the nose and the lighting works. The composition is alright, but I might have played with angles to get more of the nose in the frame and just a little lower just to be picky. Cute shot overall.
ETA: By the way, I really loved your entry for the bummer challenge. That was quite a catch and I don't understand how it ended up below 6.
