Challenge: Proportion (Basic Editing I)
Camera: Olympus C-5050Z
Location: Chicago; Wells St. a block north of Chicago Ave.

The light fixture and maroon drapery is behind a showroom window; everything else in the photo (including me taking the picture) is a reflection. This is a completely unretouched photo. I didn't take it for the purpose of entering it in a contest, but when I saw it I thought I would give it a try.

Might have tried cropping yourself out, or an angle that would have kept you out of the shot. A nice illusion.

Interesting idea spoilt by yourself being in image with camera in hand.

Don't like the photographer's reflection. I like the rest.

I'm not sure that I see a photographic reason for the reflection in this image. It sort of turns it into a confusing jumble of non-related items.

ok...so i was skimming through photos with my roomate and he said that our school was in one of the pictures...i said, "no freakin way" and "quit lying". However, it seems in you attempt to meet the challenge you have done that and met us...so to speak, thanks for the excitement at 12 am...10

I can't see that this picture meets the challenge. Not good that we can see reflection of the photographer in the window. (2)

Very nice impressive photograph. I gave it a 7. Would have been higher if you had a tighter crop and the photographer was not visible.
