 The Iris nebula, a brutally difficult target to photograph from my light polluted bedford, Nh location. Deep in the northern sky, I need to fight with the lights of manchester international airport to shoot this exceedingly dim cloud of dust illuminated by that hot blue central star. this is a composite of 7 5 minute exposures taken with a canon 350xt, 10" newt telescope, losmandy g11 mount, sbig st4 guiding system and alot of luck.

Hmmm? I've tried to look for this many times with my 16" Reflector: without luck. Maybe my skies are just too light polluted and I need to get further away from town. This is a stunning photo and a true test of photography. You have here, nothing less then a 10 of a photo.
