You may wan to save future files at a higher JPG compression. This one has huge noise. Otherwise, good shot. |

Nicely composed. Sure makes the point well. The black/white border does nothing for me - it actually detracts. |

i like this idea-you have some halo blur around some of your chess pieces-maybe lighting was insufficient? Your shot has a gray overlay on it-this can be eliminated by raising contrast levels in a photo editing program. |

this is a really great idea, but it seriously lacks contrast ... on my screen the black pawns are maybe 60-70% grey and the white ones are not white at all ... and the curtain (?) in the background very much distracts from the white pawns in the back ... needs a more uniform background |
