Challenge: Color in Black and White (Basic Editing)
Camera: Canon EOS-40D
Lens: Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM
Date: Sep 21, 2008

my ONLY idea for this challenge so it was easy picking which one to use.

Went to Lowe's and picked up a gallon of the cheapest paint they had......seemed fitting, though.....OLYMPIC....and this is the first week of DPCO III. Though this paint probably wouldn't be used for anything, my wife and I still had an argument on which color to get! In the outside chance that we would use it, I let her eventually pick it....some shade of yellow....LOL. I wanted a higher contrast color (like a deep red) but she won.

go team midwest!

Setup: white posterboard background, mother in law standing to my right holding a reflector facing down, my wife was holding the paintbrush. Bounced flash off of reflector.

I really like your concept. The paint shouts out that it must be some color. I wish the paint were a little darker so I'd perceive it as a stronger color. I love the drip and how it almost touches the can but not quite. Well done.

One of my faves... definitely says 'color'.

Trying to think what colour this is. Either a light blue, or pink maybe, but a pale colour i think. The light onto the paint in the tin makes it a little light, that it might be pale. It being a little more grey may have helped protray the colour. However, good idea and well done.
