Fantastic portrait! I knew this was you, but then I thought you weren't in the free study since your membership lapsed. You have such a way with the light on your self portraits. Again, fantastic!

Lovely light! Love the symmetry in the lines in the blanket and how it connects with the lines in your hair and sleeves.

beautiful portrait. you have a way with titles: surprising yet inevitable, like good poetry.

She clutched the blanket to her and struggled to breathe. For a moment she was unsure, it had seemed so real. For a moment it seemed as if it was still after her, but the glow of the lamp assured her it was not.

With a deep breath, and the return of all her senses, she realized it had all been just a dream. A horrible, frightening dream, but a dream. As her heart slowed, and her breathing settled down, she allowed herself to sink back onto the pillow and close her eyes.

This time, it didn't return.

This is a lovely image in its own right. I feel it would benefit from a litte more emotion though.

The title really gets me thinking, so many stories could be here. I love the tone and the model's expression, great job.

Svetlana! : )
The folds in the quilt are like the fingers of a giant hand that's holding you! : ) Nice work with the light.
