For some reason there does not appear to be a lot of clarity in this shot, maybe a result of resizing. Good idea and composition. Could be a bit darker for me.

wonderful contrasts of the white of the house with the white of the cows. I wish it was bigger so I could really see the details.

Please read some tutorials and learn how to submit a larger image that will show off your excellent eye better. This SHOULD be a much higher rated image, but your resolution is not maximized...

Small picture, would have rated higher if I could evaluate it more efficiently. Good idea though. sorry 4.

it would've been better if it wasn't so small... but you probably already received a lot of comments to that effect... it doesn't have to be this small, you can just use jpeg compression to get it under the 150K limit... still, i like it... 6.

This is a lot of cows but you haven't conveyed a sense of small space. There seems to be a lot of space here. Since there is no fence to indicate confinement one has to assume there is more pasture than what can be captured in the viewfinder. There certainly seems to be plenty of land in the horizon. There are cows hanging out at the edges of the frame on either side as well as way in the back near the first horizon line where the grass meets the trees. This leads the viewer's imagination to assume there is more space if we could just see over that hill and beyond the edges. In order to convey a sense of tight quarters you should have come in a lot closer to fewer cows and omited the vast expanse of trees and sky in the background. Disregarding the challenge theme, these cows are too far away to make much of a visual impact other than black and white blobs on a washed out landscape.

Too small, to much sharpening, and over exposed. What can I give you? Hmmm...4

Use the whole 640 width that you are allowed.

The photo doesn't really convey a feeling of a "small space" as your title suggests. In fact, the house being small in the distance and the many trees in the background give a sense of vastness for me. Challenge theme notwithstanding, the picture itself is too small to really be able to critque effectively.
