Oh My God: I can't believe I actually got a ribbon finally after all these years. I was not going to enter the challenge, but thought I would take a chance. As I went to bed last night and saw the score, thought well it is good but not winner material. Then when I looked at my e-mail first this morning, I got a request for proof from dp. I could not believe I had actually placed in the top 3. Thanks to all who have not lost faith in me. I am ecstatic. Now that I hardly go out to take pictures at all, I get a ribbon. Well, will wonders never cease.

Actually, the Mouse did not do anything risky. It is the Bird that is clearly breaking the law and is the one who can not read.

Poor mousey...

Wow, I like this a lot. The sign just makes it, and the bird is very crisp. Might have cropped it a bit close, but its still a really great capture regardless.

Fits challenge=5
Wow factor/uniqueness=1
Comments: Nice capture...both you and the bird. Would be really funny if the arrow was pointing up. Great color, detail and DOF. Good luck.

I think the arrow is pointing in the wrong direction. Shouldn't it be pointing up?!?!?!?! Nice focus but for some reason, the black background is making it look like, but of course it's not, a 'cut and paste' job. Why is it that humor in taking a risk is funnier then humor in safety to me?

Oh my! What a capture. I guess this photo would also make a good "Bummer" photo for the poor little mouse, huh? Great job!

Why's the bird looking the other way? Can't he read? :)

I don't know how this image will score with respect to the theme. But the image in itself is excellent. Such a story that it conveys! Congrats on this capture!
