 Last-minute entry ;-) I took this earlier in the week and when looking back through all the things I'd shot with a shallow DOF I decided this was the shot most dependent on DOF for its effect. Not a stunner, but I like the colors and patterns and I think it should get a respectable (5ish) score. Should probably have used f/5.6 or maybe even f/6.3 to get that other foreground berry in focus, but too late now!

PP - converted from RAW, cropped, increased contrast and saturation, added border, resized, sharpened with slight noise reduction.

Great job on getting just the one berry in sharp focus! I just wish that the berries either took up more of the photo or that more of the background was cropped out. The bokeh looks great, but the berries seem to get lost in all of the open space.

Love the tack sharp focus and background bokey. Beautifully rich colors as well.

I'll be voting up those images that illustrate DOF, and voting higher those which have a sharp focus, and higher still those which have both a foreground and background element to illustrate DOF.
