 I took this picture on "Take your daughter to work day". I actually took my 9 year old niece with me to the research institute where I work. She is seeing the fruitfly in the microscope for the first time. This is my first submission to dpchallenge and I am thrilled to participate.
I only cropped this image.

pic says nothing about proportion. title does. however, this is a photo contest, not a title contest.

This is a nice candid of this young scientist. The exposure and color is good. The framing is tight and intimate. I don't really think it says anything about proportion without the massive hint from your title. I just want you to know I'm scoring low because of that. Otherwise, I like the photo.

DOF is nice, but I'm not sure it works with the proportion theme without the title.

ive looked at this picture so many times, and i still have no clue where the title comes from, or how it fits in this challenge...

what's the point? i don't SEE the proportion. i know you are trying to suggest it through your title
