Last minute shot of my 11 year old son, Högni Freyr, taken in the evening of August 31. All kinds of layers but BW cration in Lightroom, export to Photoshop and pasting a borrowed layer from Ms. Goodman, then taking a tour with draganizer… really losing myself in the process of editing over and over again. Could not repeat this. Never done much of this type of work before.

great shot and a real pity that we can't use this type of editing as it really suits this...I guess the rules are the rules...make sure you print this and put it on the wall
Sorry about the DQ (really do wish they'd let folks use overlays!) but this is an awesome shot and really nice post processing. I think the picture on its own would have done very well.
Like the composition, but not mad about the border. The graininess makes it look like a poster to me - if that's what you were after, I think it worked.
