 Day 30 of 30 Flowers

A subtle flower. This is from the garden park I visited in mid-August. I was considering it for the August FS but it's probably too subtle to do well there ;-) I'd rather share it here!

This is also known as River Oats and Indian Oats (that doesn't sound very PC!) and a few other common names. Latin name Chasmanthium Latifolium. It is native but also used in gardens. I may need to get some; the sun through the delicate dangling flowers is gorgeous!

PP - converted from RAW, cropped, cloned out a couple of bright spots where I didn't want them, increased contrast, shifted hue very slightly towards green, added border, resized, sharpened.

Very nice. I've been trying, unsuccessfully, to get a backlit shot of grass seed heads. This one inspires me to keep trying.

Sweet 'n' Simple. Ornamental grasses are so pretty, especially in the sun at this time of year. I hope you get some in your garden!
