I wasn't even going to enter this challenge. There's nothing really serendipitous in my life...well, o.k., Everything is serendipitous. ( The girls in the supermarket playing hopscotch on the floor tiles really made my day today!) But there was nothing I could take a picture of...

BUT THEN! I decided to take one more look at the attempts I had made this week. Just one quick glance at the unexplored CF card to make sure I didn't miss something.

"Her Luck or Mine?" is an un-edited picture, straight from the camera. (Except for re-sizing and sharpening to make it appropriate for the challenge.) No levels. No crop. Nothing.

Rather boring and not much to define serendipity here. 2

Serendipity is a difficult concept to visualize. For me it means being at the right place, at the right time, and being lucky enough to capture something unique. Some of these entries are set up shots trying to illustrate that concept, and some record a serendipitous moment experienced by the photographer themselves. Not sure which this really falls under. Nice moment captured. Is it illustrative of serendipity though.

To me this is a stretch. The luck of what? I'm missing something, sorry. The background clutter is distracting. Lighting could be better. I like the motion of the cat

Seems more chaotic than serendipitous. Nice cat, though.
