 I was going to try to do something with lavender for the purple challenge.. picked a lot of it and it wilted rather quickly. So I tied some up with dental floss and just took a shot of it in a bundle. I went back the next day and took some shots in the field instead of picking them, so expect some upcoming Lavender shots =)

This might not have done badly in the Purple challenge; it's more purple than some of the entries I've seen ;-) Also nicely lit.

excellent the way you've given such contrast with your plain white background and the dark flowers resting on it .. the shadow is perfect .. great image .. :)
