My wife calls it a Balloon Flower. She is not sure of its name.
Call out if you know it.
We found Camponula presicifolia but I don't think that is even close.

I love these flowers but have little luck growing them. You captured this well, especially the veins in the petals.

Those 'flat flowers' are the hardest to photograph interestingly. You've done it well here.

Your wife is right about the common name. The buds look like hot air balloons right before they open.
