I had to look the English name of this common wild plant. It is very toxic so I find it strange its common name implies it could be food to squirrels... I have never seen any animal eating this plant. I grows in bogs and wetlands.

This has a lot of great elements: excellent light, great sparkles. Unfortunately, it doesn't come together for me. There doesn't seem to be a focus point anywhere.

FrostyPaws is right - jewelweed is the more common name. I don't know where they got that squirrel corn name.

Like the neat composition with leaf on bottom and top. Oreal cookie for a hummingbird!

Funky. The blossom looks very delicate in comparison to the leaves.

I have seen it called "spotted touch me not"...also called jewelweed. This is an important nectar plant for hummingbirds.
