Revisited the Lotus I shot for the Hot challenge. Played with the Filters Drawer once more in Photoshop. Then, since I have been commenting on a lot of borders, I figured I give everyone a chance to get even and challenge mine!
Seem to have my hand stuck in the Filters Drawer of Photoshop. Gonna have to get out and try something else.

blurred selected background areas,
burned selected petal areas,
played with filter and borders.

| Very beautiful looking flower, but would benefit from a much simpler border. You commented a lot that you don't like the plain white borders I tend to use, but this seems to be far more overpowering in my opinion. This really doesn't work for me at all. |

hey steve .. this is brilliant .. i feel that i could pick this flower up .. its so 3D .. the colours are beautiful .. its a great photograph and process ..

| I like the crosshatch filter ... gives it an abstract painting feel ... especially with the border you've chosen ... nice work |
