 I shot this for the recent Still Life Challenge and went with another version with a plain background. I added some filters to soften the background. Not very agreesive at all but I like the colors.

this is an explosion of colors - the background is fantastic and seems to continue the theme of the petals textures

Nice. A very appealing color combo. I was thinking it was surprising that we had so few flower-in-vase shots in this side challenge, and was contemplating shooting a few myself.

All of this is attractive. The vase with the diagonal seems to work just right with the light in this shot, and it echos and balances the line of the darker flowers.
