The Tiger Lily is an interesting flower from all angles so I used a Triptych to show it off. First time effort. It is alright but kinda busy because of the nature of the flower itsef

With all three images in general In Photoshop:
cropped,
sized,
adjusted levels,
slight sat/hue adjustment,
burned a couple of areas,

Nice looking flowers, but again, not too keen on the triptych effect.

The tiger is not one of my favorite lillies. Besides that, you have shown them off very nicely here.

absolutely stunning .. busy is good .. !! .. i love the combo and those vibrant colours .. makes me wish for summer ... :)
& steve, thankyou so much for your wonderful comment on 'suspended' .. there arent many flowers on the firetrail which is where i take most of my photographs and i'm not that into bees .. they move so quick that its very difficult to get really really close to them and they scare off easily .. some other insects seem to stay still for longer than a second or two & dont mind you in their face .. its just that there arent many other insects around right now being winter, & i love photographing insects .. .. so for now the bees will have to do ..!!.. :)

Triptych turned out well. Of the individual shots I think the lower left image is the strongest. I like how it has folded in on itself and the way the light plas across the gentle curves. Good job!

if that isn't the most intensely colored tiger i have ever seen - those spots are so out of this world
