its an excellent photograph and the overlay adds a sort'v 'looking thru something' kinda feel .. i love this image .. its very beautiful .. :)

Just totally outstanding, Sarah. The softness and the color tones are beautiful. The overlay gives the image an edge and elevates it from your "regular" rose shot. Great work.

The pink roses look so fresh and so inviting, and yet also looks like a keepsake memorable floral image, for all time.....

Roses are pretty, especially the center blossom. However, the overlay you chose doesn't fit well, in my opinion. It's too harsh for a typical rose shot, and yet not harsh enough if you're really trying to contrast a grungy look with the "soft" subject. The underlying shot is a good base for this sort of effect, just maybe try a different, grungier overlay.
