Titled in honour of the late great Bruce Lee, and yes, it's my hand once again :o)

Long shutter timing with a single spotlight gives the firey glow and motion blur. The original was cropped, and the red saturation increased (to emphasise the 'anger/wrath'-ness).

Representswrath in more ways than one. I really like the motion here. The redness increases the wrathness. The motion shows that something is happening here. I like the lighting, although I wouldn't want the thumb area any brighter. Angle and framing/cropping are good. nice shot. Good luck in the challenge. ~Hbunch7187~

Good use of motion, I think. I assume you took the picture while the hand was thrusting forward and then stopped. Sometimes, it works better to place your hand (or other moving object) in the final position, hold it for a few seconds, then move backwards. That way, the "end" position is really clear, but you still have the motion blur! karmat

Is it a bird, is it a plane, is it superman? No it's a fist of fury! :)
Nice idea - feels toooo blurry for me and the whiteout on the hand is too strong for my taste.
Cool idea though!

nicely done

this is great! you have really managed to isolate anger in this shot. the long exposure works well in portraying this. you are left wondering who the victim/target is and even cringing a little yourself! 9--alecia

I think the concept here is excellent... the hot spot on the wrist is just a little 'too' hot i think... this type of shot is not easy :) - setzler

You know, this photo really represents rage. Excellent.

Great Idea. Wish it would have turned out just a little better

This just seems too blurry to have a real impact.

This is quality!

Good idea but the fact that the thumb trail makes the wrist look overly big, puts me off a bit.

The lighting is way to bright. I do like the idea. The blure is a good effect.

Neat shot. Neat idea! This must have been a difficult shot to get... The motion really sets the filling of fury, speed, haste, into the viewer. Great position of the first at the end. What is the light portion of the shot on the bottom? - JB

a little bright on the thumb and the travel of the punch is a little odd but i like it!

This hand looks rather familiar. Great wrathful motion...lighting a tad harsh, but understandable. 8 Lisa

would have liked to see the fist a little more clearly
10/14/2002 06:59:00 PM
I see the blurryness helps show movement, but its a little too blury.

I love the movement. Great color. Nice contrasts. Very well executed. 8/10

Really nice motion blur that shows speed and also has lots of detail on the hand. The blur also makes it seem like the person was acting rashly and confused. Nice red hue as well :)
