 Took several shots of the Leaf literally shooting from the hip (to steady the camera and try GeneralE's hand-held method) one evening. Didn't come out as I liked. Had to go back with a tripod. Like these leaves a lot. Was going to go with a straight presentation but went back to the Filter's Drawer in Photoshop. Kinda like the results. . . a lot.

sized,
adjusted levels,
usm
applied rough pastel filter,
applied texturizer,
adjusted brightness and contrast.

Very nice. It comes across as an abstract composed of bold colors and strong lines. Right up my alley.
