So rushed, very little editing besides b&w conversion. My skin is pretty crappy so I apologize.. I just HAD to get this in on time despite being exhausted. LOL.

Done with window light & mini reflector. :)

Self crit: I wish I would have had more light on my one eye so it wasn't so dark.

I like the mysterious darkness on one side and the sweet brightness on the other in this. You have a beautiful smile.

Well I'd like to be able to rush and get such good results.

Beautiful conversion though! Your spill light is perfect. Sometimes light takes care of the skin for us :) hehe

lol like everyone else said - I think your skin looks pretty good! This is a great shot. Nice and simple. The lighting is complementary and the black and white conversion is wonderful. Beautiful shot!

It's still a beautiful portrait despite your self-criticism. I think the lighting is great; soft and pretty. I'm sure you know, but this is "short light", and in my opinion it's a sophisticated way to add drama to a portrait. You've done it expertly here in my opinion, because the drama is very subtle, and actually simply heightens the very natural feel to this. Beautifully done.

I think this is great. You're lovely and I think you cannot take a bad photo of yourself, go ahead, try. :) Your skin is great, I don't see what you mean by it being crappy. Great smile and great cheekbones. Superb self portrait.

Very pretty. I think the lighting is fine and your one eye isn't too dark. Nice work on this one, considering it was so rushed.

I dunno, I kinda like the dark eye. It's the usual "face half light half shadow," except that you've put the shadowy shoft focus side in front. This allows you're other brighter more focused eye to pull us all the way through the photo. You have awesome eyes! And I love you're thicker eyebrows, that's what's in you know. Just beautiful!

YES! I think the contrast on the two sides of the face works - i mean the one eye isn't too dark, imo.

very very good for being such a rushed shot! and have fun at Warped, I was supposed to go this year with a few friends, but they bailed out on me and i had no ride. oh well, thats what live recordings are for (but NOWHERE near the awesomeness)

love the softness and simple beauty.
