This is my first attempt not 100% sure it's worked, canvas effect again.

First, this is a splendid assemblage: whether it is just the way you've got the patterns of each rose and/or the canvas effect, I can truly "see" each different petal pattern, but the seeing is highly intensified by their juxtapositioning. And yes, it is so good it is worth attending to the nitpikkers. This certainly does something for me. Would love to see what you come up with by way of variations if you are so inclined.

Cool experiment. However, the flowers are so lovely, I think they could stand on their own, without any special effect.

Excellent presentation. Got a few comments. . . but remember they are MHO. The crackle on the yellow and orange flower bottom left doesn't work as well as it does with the reds. That little bit of leaf sticking out on the right of the bottom right is like frosting on some ones chin. You want them to wipe it off. Since this does not follow the strict rules of a challenge, you could have wiped it out! The green bottom doesn't fit with the others. I am nit picking on a fantastic presentation. You certainly met the challenge of trying something new.

A good experiment. There's a tiny distracting dark bit on the upper right corner of the lower left rose.

Nice. I find the textures a bit heavy though. All beautiful blossoms too. Why don't we have great looking flowers like these round here. :(

i like the approach - the canvas affect works pretty well - but i am just not sure about the yellowish color background choice

Each of your images are exceptionally lovely.
I do find the 'canvas' a little overpowering for such perfect blossoms. Maybe a little less of the paper effect would give those roses a chance to shine. I think you can do it with the sliders.

I think this is lovely. Would make a nice card, actually your processing makes it look like it's printed on card stock.

This is pretty cool actually. Nice rose shots also. Wonder how it would look if the crackle effect weren't on the white bits?
