wow susan .. this is excellent .. love the photograph and the use of the overlay .. & far out that you were inspired by my work .. i find your work inspiring .. in fact less than an hour ago i was walking on the firetrail and was taking pics of dead flowers .. your excellent style popped into my head at the time .. just the way you give the most awesome feel to your images .. anyway .. just thought i'd mention it .. !!! ..:)

I was going to comment on the other one that I thought the bg needed darkening, this edit really makes the single flower stand out more.

Step back ... overlays truly can become addictive. Congrats, you did a fine job. I do like the version with the overlay, but then I've been sucked into overlay anonymous group.
