I had all intentions of going the b/w Breaking Benjamin album cover look but sometimes you go through all the staged shots from a set and the one where you were goofing off just won't let you get past it. Got a bunch of proper shots but this one worked for me as I am not proper... :)

4 buck piece of fabric from Yardage Town, 1 strobe on my right, 420EX behind me bouncing off backdrop. Minimal post p.

You are definitely one of the top lighting masters here, Andy. This is top notch.

LOL at your comment about not being proper because the first thing I thought when I saw this is, he looks really sassy! :)

Lighting awesome, pose great, but dude...lay off the acid:) Very crisp focus. That fabric has lots of potential.

I love Breaking Benjamin. My bestfriend accidentally stepped on my cd... and broke it. Go figure.
Very creative shot, I quite like the lighting on your face :)

lol I'm looking at that background wondering where the heck you got that piece of red and black carpet. I like it! I also like how the lighting brought out the color in your right eye. I like how the pose just pulls you into the photo.

Fun, imaginative, and very well executed. Love all the colors and the unusual comp/POV. Great stuff!

Wow, that WORKS... everything really works. You've even got that "Rembrandt lighting" thing going on pretty much perfectly on your face. That's an engaging pose, and the camera angle together with the fact that you're confronting the camera lens really makes an instantaneous connection. Very nice. I think the single flash unit lighting one side of a subject can make for a very dramatic portrait if done correctly, and it's done exceedingly well here.

Haha, I love your crazy ideas :D
Some light from the right would have been good so that your upper arm wasn't so dark, but perhaps that would also have ruined the dramatic impact of it...

Another good portrait. Your look is intense and fitting for this pose I find.
