Not from an orchid show...this is part of a permanent display at the conservatory at Como Park and yes there is a bamboo stake in the pot with the orchids. There are several varieties on display there ...all small in size.

Waugh! very exotic & quite challenging to get a nice shot like this. Well done! I'm thinking Orchid Show, I think I see a bamboo stake, if so I'm cheering even more.

Simplicity at it best, and very effective. A bold statement in color, and form, but still simple on composition, and that is what I like about this image..... Well done.

I think is looks like a tiny bush orchid.

Before I looked at the other comments the first thing I thought was pretty and simple, so I'm going to agree with the others.. I love the simplicity too!
