 This bird looked like something from the age of the dinosaurs. Beautiful but disturbing at the same time.

Right you are Jimmy. I did a quick search of Cassowary and wikedpedia called it the Southern Cassowary and I went with that! :P I had no idea what it was called but it sure has a double wattle. LOL

I thought this was the "double wattled cassowary"... ;-) (j/k) You got a better shot through the bars of this guy than I did. What a scary character - right out of Jurrasic Park!
