Burger:

Start with 100% pure Sirloin beef burger add some special spices and grill to perfection.

Take one whole wheat bun and add Kraft mayo, Boston lettuce, Lovingly place burger on lettuce, then top with havarti cheese (2 slices), Heinz tomato ketchup, Frenches prepared yellow mustard, Bick's sweet green relish, a large slice of garden fresh tomato, and two slices of home made zesty garlic sliced pickles. Hold the onions.

Short cake:

4 cups flour
2 Tablespoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup white sugar
1 t vanilla sugar
1/2 t salt
1 cup margarine or butter (can mix with shortening)
2 cups sour milk (milk + 1 T vinegar)

Mix dry ingredients together, including sugar. Cut in shortening then add milk and mix until just moistened. Bake in 9x13 greased pan at 400 F for 20 minutes.

This one happens to be gluten free (no wheat flour) and made with goat's milk.

After the short cake is cooled off, cut out a piece and slice it into 3 layers, place the first layer on the plate and mound on fresh whip cream, top with hand picked fresh from the fields strawberries, repeat the whip cream and place on another layer of short cake, add more whip cream and strawberries and still more whip cream, now put on the top layer of short cake and place a good sized dollop of whip cream and place a few strawberries on top.

Now enjoy your Sizzling Summer Supper, does it get any better then this??

I love all sorts of things about this composition. From the lighting right down to the condiments bleeding out the side and the choice of bun. All these elements really strengthen the image.. The DOF works well for me. Love the strawberry shortcake in the background. It almost gives of a feeling of jealousy towards the hamburger. Great shot.

too bright on the light

Not quite enough DOF or focus to score really highly, I fear.

great potential but the lighting is just too flat, not helping you here.

A bit busy and the object in the rear may have worked with a better DOF.
