Photograph Information Photographer's Comments
Challenge: Strength (Basic Editing I)
Camera: Kodak DX6490
Location: My little very amateur home studio in Hamburg,
Date: Apr 9, 2004
Aperture: 5.9
ISO: 80
Shutter: 4 sec
Galleries: Studio, Digital Art
Date Uploaded: Apr 12, 2004

I bought a black background, put my cam on a tripod, arranged 5 candles around it and waited until it got dark. When it got dark I gave it a try to see that the cam was not focussing correctly, it was all blurred...
So I took a large lamp lighted the scene, set the cam to 10sec selftimer and started the shot. During the 10 sec I put the big lamp away so that light came only from the candles.

That's a nice photo of some kind of stone or jewelry. I like it.

How did you do it ?

Excellent. Centering the heart really works in this picture and so does the gold border.

Nicely lit -- you obviously spent some time setting this up.

Think longer exposure or more brightness would have been better. The idea is fine.
