Yes the oversharpening is on purpose and I was trying to recreate a certain mood, I'm sorry... well not sorry per say, but there were a lot of people that didn't pick up on it. Which is fine, I like the shot anyways. |

Looks a lot like a movie I saw (late) last night, "Teenagers From Outer Space" -- nice use of extreme tone range and (possibly) oversharpening to create a particular mood. |

The Coffee musta been REAL STRONG! so is the sharpening. |
