Challenge: Free Study 2008-06 (Advanced Editing VII)
Camera: Nikon D300
Lens: Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 EX DC HSM for Nikon
Location: Sydney Harbour, Circular Quay
Date: Jun 17, 2008
Aperture: F11
ISO: 200
Shutter: 10 Seconds
Galleries: Cityscape, Landscape
Date Uploaded: Jun 30, 2008

The Image: I shot this in Sydney while I was there in June. Took about 170 images across the evening and I really thought this would complement my other Starry Starry Night ribbon winner.

The Edit: Usual stuff :) Once I changed the levels I had to go back and dodge the stars back with the dodge tool at about 75% and 3 pixels. I think they make the picture.

Prediction: Don't think this will do as well as my Melbourne Image, but I think it will score around 6.7???

pretty close prediction enzo ..
its another stunning photograph, processed to perfection ..
the sky is amazing .. the moon almost looks like a sun with the rays coming off it like that .. the stars that you've recovered so well are subtle and beautiful .. congratulations on a great score in the free study .. there was some fierce competition .. :)

I love seeing the variety of texture and shapes. The clouds are pretty and the ripples in the water look great in this blue shade. Quite the magical evening you have captured.
