The outside of the Bass Opera House in downtown Fort Worth. My problem was trying to get the trumpet without getting the edge of the building. So I cropped it closer without eliminating the end of that infernally long tube and then used contrast and brightness to eliminate the corner. I was distracted by it and I was afraid you would be too. I also did auto contrast, levels, and some hue and saturation. I love these angels.

focus on something, and focus sharp.

Seems overexposed on the right hand side. IMO the cropping is too close on the tip of the horn. I do like the colors that you picked up in the horn. Makes for a nice contrast with the stone work of the statue.

So...I bet you are getting nailed because you let the horn run out of the image? I shot this from directly underneath...I actually was prone on the sidewalk:) I can see where some folks just would not get it, depending on thier faith. A night time shot of this does demand a steady hand or a tripod as well. I have to vote to get my comment to stick.

A not so well taken shot of someone elses art.

Too bad about cutting off the bell portion of the horn. I like this shot okay, although I wish the lighting was a little better. I find the strong shadows to be distracting. Looks like the focus is just a little off too.

It may just be my theologian side coming out, but why does an Angel have/need faith? We are saved through our faith, but not angels. In regards to the photo, doesn't really show me strength/power. Coloration on the carving seems to make it dirty, and the trumpet should be entirely in the photo.

Do angels have faith? Presumably they know god exists so they don't need an act of faith to believe. Your picture is nicely composed and exposed, but it looks a little soft focus, but this may just be the image noise that is very visable in the top left corner.

I wonder why you would cut the end of the horn off? Makes the photo look incompleted. Good luck.
