 This is a Plasma Screw-In Lightbulb. Same technology as the big plasma globes (the ones that react to touch). Spencer's carries these for $9.99.

Originally I shot this from the side, but the core in the middle was odd looking, the clouds of light however intrigued me greatly so I tilted the bulb (and the camera) to get a dead on shop from the top. From this angle I particularly like that it looks like a little planet in orbit around the bright light.

I'm expecting a number of DNMCs event hough it really is a lightbulb, even says so on the box! I'm hoping for a mid 6 need to bring my average back up (no more 4s, giving me a complex!!!). Expecting Mid 5, cause that's the way it always goes.

And I thought MY entry was a bit abstract... I feel like I am back in the '60s. Groovy shot! Maybe it could use a little noise reduction to smooth out some of that grainy appearance.

Is this one of those plamsa globes? It is either kinda noisy, or the plasma is the cause of what looks to be heavy noise. No vote, I'm in this one.
