Don't want to seem mean but this is not midnight. I like the shot but it is a little misleading.

Congrats Alex. Excellent series!

Fantastic! I especially like the two dead trees in the background (and their reflections) - they really add to the overall flavor.

Alex, congrats on the blue ribbon, and another fantastic shot! I really love this series.

Congrats on the blue. I'm quite inspired by your trees at night series as a whole. I'm going camping with my family this weekend and was thinking I might leave my gear at home, but now I think I'll bring it along with my flash.

Very DPC friendly image, but not a tired repeat. Hope this does well. 9

This is first rate. I love the fill light. The title confuses me (can this REALLY be at midnight? Hard to see how...) but never mind that :-)
Post actions
Very nice subject and colour. Clean treatment too. Good use of light and time of day.
Post actions
perhaps the tree on the foreground is a bit too much big or too much in the middle of the image.
Post actions
border is a tad overdone, IMO
Post actions
Beautiful colors... not sure I like the black bands on the top and bottom.

beautiful, reminds me of the lord of the rings, great colors

Great shot, lovely colours and texture in the tree trunk. I don't really like the border though.
Post actions
Beautiful night time exposure. It feels very tranquil. The composition works really well with the trunk on the third and the foliage framing the river and opposite bank.
Post actions
Brilliant work Alex. You are, but not limited to, a master of midnight tree shooting.
Post actions
the light in this is superb...I like your borders, though I would imagine every second comment is telling you the border is no good...great image 8
Post actions
Beautiful shot but the border is too heavy and distracting for me.
Post actions
Wow. I love the effect on this. Nice balance between the flash on the tree and the sunset. Unusual choice of border.

This is just so clear! Beautiful colours.
