 This was an attempt at a portrait. It was taken on a snowy day and I liked the idea of a black, fury, warm looking coat.

Part of this effort was to explore DOF. So, the matching image was taken at F2.2. In retrospect, I think that something between these two would be about right. Perhaps F8, enough to keep the fur sharp and still render the trees out of recognition.

This one I like much better. I do like a bit of the trees showing in the back to finish off that outdoors feel you are trying to achieve. I really like the expression on her face.
