 This shot by njsabs2323 was so enchanting. It certainly deserved the blue ribbon. Colorizing B&W is a hobby of mine, so I thought I would play with it. I used some of the colors that were described, and just made up the rest.

I, like others, would love to see the actual color version. I can't imagine it would improve on the B&W version njsabs2323 submitted to the Mask Challenge.

For what its worth, I used 5 colors, Green for the silk and feathers and her eyes, Blue for the feathers, pink for her lips, sort of a redish for her hair, and a flesh tone for her skin and the mask. I simply painted over the areas in the color blending mode.

Ok, this is completely freaky.
I've been playing with hand-coloring lately and saw a shot similar to this somewhere on the web and was playing with
njsabs2323's picture as well, then saw you your version on the recently commented on page.

Twilight zone material here...


(I can even show you the time/date stamp on the image - was saved yesterday at 2:44pm)

I love the compliment, but the original image is not mine... I could only hope to be able to create such an image. I am very glad you like the work.

amazing greens here! I love how you changed her eyes. They just POP. of course your original, and your Mask entry were fantastic too!
