Could have cropped out a little on the right.

This is a subtle response to the challenge, but I'm thinking its the chemistry of love that you are trying to convey here. I suspect the less patient will not appreciate this aspect but I think its commendable to try something a bit different and that requires a little thought by the viewer to 'get it'.

Having said that however, I think some elements of the photo could do with a little improvement. If I'm right in my assumption that this is to do the with chemistry of love then the couple who are your subject matter should dominate the photo. As it is, you have put them in a real life perspective and I'm not sure that really adds anything to the photo. Cropping off the right side of the image might have helped, and a black and white or subtle sepia would really have added an intimate feel to underline your concept. Overall, 5 from me.

I get the male/female chemistry thing, although I think it's a pretty weak concept for this challenge (IMHO), but in this photo even that doesn't come across that well because we really can't see the subject's faces. Sorry, just my opinion.

you captured a really nice moment but the photo is marred by the guy in the background wearing his nice red shirt from Walmart

this would be really nice if it was pulled in on the couple only

It has a snapshot-ish feel, but kudos for a unique interpretation of chemistry.

I'm sorry, but this is clearly DNMC. This challenge is about the "science of chemistry".

I find it a pity when I have to lower the score of a beautiful image because it doesn't meet the challenge. However, here I don't have this problem. This picture is more of a snapshot. The composition is random, we cannot see the couple's faces and the background is full of distractions. I really don't understand why you submitted this image.

She looks exhausted, and is (hopefully) being helped to a chair where she can rest for a bit. Shot from the other side, where you could see both their faces, might have shown more of the chemistry you're looking for.
